On August 27, 2016, Christina & Michael were married at The Great Room, a beautiful Howard County wedding venue at Historic Savage Mill. Their outdoor ceremony was held on the tented deck area overlooking the Little Patuxent River and was witnessed by 170 of their closest friends & family. The couple provided their own custom built back drop for their ceremony that was adorned with summer roses & hydrangea floral displays provided by Flowers by Judy.
Benny, their extremely well-behaved Black Lab was an honorary member of their bridal party.
After the ceremony guests were welcomed into the recently renovated this beautiful Howard County wedding venue to enjoy cocktails and a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres as well as beautiful stationary displays of fresh fruit, vegetables & assorted cheese all provided by Putting on the Ritz Catering. The cocktail hour was followed by as served dinner with choice of Flat Iron Steak or Pan Seared Salmon with Bourbon Glaze accompanied by Char–Grilled Asparagus & Roasted Red Potatoes with Thyme & Rosemary. A delicious wedding cake decorated with a small figurine that resembled their dog Benny was provided by Santoni’s Bakery.
After speeches were completed, the dance floor opened up & guests enjoyed the musical talents of the live band, Screaming Broccoli, who had traveled in from NYC to this beautiful Howard County wedding venue. Fun was had by all!
